Amherst IGA is one of the cleaniest stores around. Also good quality food and the sales are the best
Ive lived in amherst for a long time,growing up my parents went to the Amherst IGA because it was close to home and they always liked the selection of things and they shopped there for years and still do. When i got married i shopped there also.I always go there and they know me and my family by name, i have never had a bad shopping experience. All the employees are very helpful, the store is very clean the selection is great and everything is always fresh! The sales are good every week, that is the only place that i like to buy meat because it is the best cuts and the best quality. Thursdays are double coupons and is times like these every penny you can save is a big help. I would recemend other shoppers to go there and im sure they would have a great shopping experience also.
Also i like it because its not one of those Super Centers that it takes hours to get through and takes forever to get your shopping done. Like they say it a hometown store and thats great to see because there really arent any stores like that around any more.
